John Henry Schroeder Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Henry Schroeder of Windthorst, Texas, who passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank John Schroeder and Margaret Zotz Schroeder; his wife Ruth; his siblings, Angeline Lindemann, Ollie, Lawrence, Otto, Francis and Buck Schroeder; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Sternadel, Richard Hoffman, Florien Lindemann and Tom Schultz.

He is survived by: his children, Dewayne Schroeder (Michelle) of Wichita Falls, Ronnie Schroeder (Cathy) of Kadane Corner, Rhonda Weckar (Tray) of Kamay, Kimbralyn Pharries of Grandfield and Ganie McCurdy Veal of Windthorst; the mother of his children Kirby Blay Andrus of Wichita Falls; his sisters, Trudy Veitenheimer (Walter) of Wichita Falls, Mary Sternadel of Wichita Falls, Agnes Pechacek of Wichita Falls, Margie Hoffman of Wichita Falls and Pauline Schultz of McKinney; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Schroeder of Wichita Falls and Alberta Schroeder of Lindsay. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
