He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Joseph Veitenheimer and Petronilla Ann Brenneis Veitenheimer; his siblings, Helen Herring, Rosalie King, Therese Morath and Oscar Veitenheimer; and his grandchildren, Riley Johnston, Gary Johnston and Holly Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Marie Berend of Windthorst; his children, Angela Johnston (Nubbin) of Windthorst, Cathy Hoffman (Royal) of Lakeside City, Gerald Veitenheimer (Susan) of Windthorst, Raymond Veitenheimer of Scotland, David Veitenheimer (Teresa) of Windthorst and Kenneth Veitenheimer (Laurie) of Scotland; and his siblings, Margaret Ann Beaman of Windthorst and Walter Veitenheimer (Trudy) of Wichita Falls. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
