He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Joseph and Marie Baker East; his stepmother Anite East; his brother Roland East; his brother-in-law Spence Smith; and his nephew Todd East.
He is survived by: his wife Mazie East; his children, Brian East (Bobbie) of Midland, Daphne Matthews (Rip) of Winnie and Nicole Touchet (Kelley) of Winnie; his daughter-in-law Brenda East of Winnie; his sisters, Gloria Smith and Georgia Mayfield (Roy); his sister-in-law Shirley Johnson (Larry); his grandchildren, Brooke East, Amber Vogelpohl (Jed), Justin Devillier, Keaton Ballard (Aaron), Tamara Kirkland (Drake), Hayden Touchet (Keri), Mattie Kleckley (Collin), Torrie East, Kasey Touchet, Shaina Villarreal (Noah), Hope East, Jacob East and Natalie East; and his great grandchildren, Brennon Opie, Quinley Vogelpohl, Kory Vogelpohl, Avery Brown, Isaac Brown, Paxton Kleckley, Coen Vogelpohl, Sawyer Kleckley, Blaize Ballard, Amelia Kirkland, Goldie Ballard, Tatum Kirkland, Scottie Rae Villarreal, Conway Ballard and Miller Kate Kleckley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
