He is survived by: his wife Mary Champagne Decuir of Winnie; his daughter Belinda Decuir Turney of Winnie; his grandchild Lindsey Matkin (Cade) of Winnie; his great grandchildren, Bryant Matkin and Bailee Matkin of Winnie; and his brother Merlin Decuir of The Villages.
