He was predeceased by : his parents, Elton Menard and Hazel Menard; his siblings, Jimmy and Mary Ann Ryan; and his brother-in-law Leo Klaes.

He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Buskirk Menard; his children, Joni (Bobby Abalos) and Mike (Jennifer Menard); his grandchildren, Robby (Abigail) and Triston; and his sisters, Diana Klaes, LeeAnna Miller (Mark Miller) and Gloria (Bill Messick). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
