It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike McDaniel in Winnie, Texas, born in Center, Texas, who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete McDaniel and Ella McDaniel; his sister Barbara Hilton; and his nephew Gerald Hightower II. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his children, Charlie McDaniel (Chelsea) and Scotty McDaniel (Holly); his siblings, Jeannie Hightower and Gary McDaniel (Tomi); and his granddaughters, Gracie, Kate, Ella and Charlotte. He is also survived by extended family members, and countless friends.
