He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Chambless Britnell Powell (Sherman Powell); his wife Paula Britnell; his siblings, Frances (John Baker), Phillip Britnell, Iris (Stanley Hensarling) and Jan (Scott Kendall); his children, Carina (Terrell Haygood), Becca (Matt Bailey), Brion Britnell, Monica (Chris Haygood), Janella (Evan Dedo) and Joshua (Carrie Britnell); his stepchildren, Stephanie (Bruce Quave) and Mathew (Alicia Walls); his grandchildren, Julia (Justin Ritchie), Harli (Chantz Pryor), Trystan (Destiny Evans), Lindy (Dylan Burson), Jacob Zeller, Caitlyn Valenciano, Jathan (Morgan Sims), Maverick Haygood, Evelyn Britnell, Elliot Dedo, Mary Anne Britnell and Everett Dedo; and his stepgrandchildren, Adison Richard, Mason Walls, Ayden Richard and Noah Walls.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church-Winnie (120 W Pear Ave, Winnie, TX 77665). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Campground Cemetery (134 Buccaneer Dr, Winnie, TX 77665).
