He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Evie and Miss Evie; his brother Mark; and his brother-in-law Larry Bollich. He is survived by: his girlfriend Judy Detrick; his children, William S. Edwards III (Sandra) of Fannett and Christie Kennemer (Dean Kennemer) of Mont Belvieu; his girlfriend's son Stuart Springfield of Melbourne, Australia; his grandchildren, Rebecca Monse (Taylor) of Sour Lake, Brayden Edwards of Fannett, Bryce Kennemer (Ally) of College Station, Emily Brawner (Michael) of Mont Belvieu, Johnathan Springfield of Melbourne, Australia and Jessica Reichert (Zack) of Dayton, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Maeson, Weston, Mady, Peyton, Blair, Charlie, Karson, Kamryn, Addie Claire, Aiden, Lillian and Alaric; and his siblings, Bobby Edwards, Susan Bollich, Anne Edwards, Joan Harkins, Jaime Edwards (Nancy), Stevie Edwards (Fran), Tim Edwards, David Edwards (Debbie), Mary Pat Schneider (John), Tommy Edwards (Allison) and Chris Edwards.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (134 Buccaneer Dr, Winnie, TX 77665). Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (315 Buccaneer Dr, Winnie, TX 77665). A burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
