He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Moffat and Bette Moffat; and his brothers, Steve Moffat and Wayne Moffat. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Moffat of Winnsboro; his children, Ashley Evans of McKinney, Lori Green of Winnsboro and John Moffat of Crandall; his stepchildren, Hannah Rizvi of Princeton and Dylan Abdanan of Boston, Massachusetts.; and his grandchildren, Payton, Parker Green, Caden, Jax, Ashtin, Emerson Evans, Grayson Moffat, Aasya and Ibrahim Rizvi.
