He was predeceased by: his daughter Melissa; and his siblings, Ann and Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Love; his children, Heather Mitchell (Heath) and Brandon Love (Lana); his grandchildren, Tristan Richardson, Haylie Mitchell, Heston Mitchell, Haden Mitchell and Atley Love; and his siblings, Glenda Bell, Sue Love, Buck Love and Lue Wilhite. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was known for his steadfast work ethic and took tremendous pride in his contributions to both family and community.
