It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lejoy Vernice Weems of Winnsboro, Texas, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lejoy Vernice Weems to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her father Bill Busby; her husband Jack Weems; her son Terry Weems; and her grandsons, Jeremiah and Brandon.

She is survived by : her children, Jackie Weems (Theresa) of Winnsboro, Kenny Weems (Cindy) of Winnsboro and Vickie Brenton (Rodney) of Winnsboro; her sister Patricia Carpenter of Irving; and her grandchildren, Misty, Cole, Benjamin, Stephanie, Jamie, Tonya, Jason, Jonathan and Karrie. She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
