With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gloria Jobe of Winters, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gloria left this world on October 12, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Henderson and Gladys Henderson (Byron Davis Jobe); her spouse Byron Davis Jobe; and her siblings, J. A. Henderson and Betty Easterly.
She is survived by: her sons, Archie Jobe (Doylene) of Winters, Byron Jobe of Winters and Carey Jobe (Teresa) of Ovalo; and her grandchildren, Lori Winkler (Davy) of San Angelo, Austin Jobe (Amber) of Anson, Allyson Ewing of Branson, MO, Byron Don "Donnie" Jobe of DeLeon, Stacy Lynn Barbeau (Andrew) of Georgetown, Cade Jobe (Bana) of Corvallis, OR, Kearci Smith (Lewis) of Richardson and Justin Jones (Devon) of Burkburnett. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Hall at the First Baptist Church (104 W Truett St, Winters, TX 79567). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (104 W Truett St, Winters, TX 79567). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery.
