He was predeceased by: his wife Cleadean Burns (Graves); his parents, Jessie Lee and Nona Lee Burns (Chaney); and his siblings, David O'Dell Burns, Jimmie Dale Burns, Kenneth Lee Burns, Jerry Allen Burns and Paula Sue Patton (Burns).

He is survived by: his children, Keith Wesley Burns of Winters and Lana Flint (Randy) of Ballinger; his granddaughter Renee Fulton; his great grandchild Landon Lynch of Odessa, Texas.; and his nieces and nephews, Dena Santoya (Victor), Michael Patton (Dianna), Don Patton (Maggie) of Winters, Jimmy Burns of Hobbs, Mireta Sanmiguel of Odessa, Kilah Lane (Johnny) of Christoval, Noelisa Loehman (Terry) of Winters, Tammy Graves of San Angelo and Shari Graves (Amanda Tobias) of San Angelo. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, great great-nieces and nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Lake View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Meals On Wheels, Parkinson's Foundation or a favorite charity.
