He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Smith (Veronica) of Burnet, TX, Bruce Smith (Melanie) of Pickerington, OH and Brenda Giles (Lynn) of Iola, TX.; his grandchildren, Angela Patton (Jimmy) of Baird, TX, Brian Briley (Mendy) of Borden County, TX, Mylea Nations (Mason) of Riga, Mikayla Boggs (Brennan) of Lafayette, IN and Marissa Tippie (Blake) of Reynoldsburg, OH; his stepgranddaughter Jennie Reimund (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Kadin Patton, Brylee Patton, Colbin Briley, Logan Briley, Brianna Briley, Chandler Nations, Oliver Nations and Zoey Nations; his sister Barbara Phillips; and his friend Beth Wortham.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Winters or the Winters Volunteer Fire Department.
