It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Elaine Miller (Winters, Texas), who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoppe and Josephine Hoppe (Spill). She is survived by: her grandsons, Scott and Clent; her husband Dan Watson Miller of John's Luther Church; her children, Dawn (Brent Bryan), Francine (Jerry Sallese), J'Dan (Kelsey Miller) and Carl (Loyce Miller); her grandchildren, Holly Bryan, Stephanie Bryan, Jennifer, Jim Craig and Stephanie Sallese; her great grandchildren, Mack Bryan, Charlotte, Cassidy Bryan, Kayley, Evan, Sebastian, Joseph and Victor Craig; her children, Daniel Miller and Janie Stephenson; and her grandson Justin Sallese. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Rock Hotel or Winters Public Library.
