She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Colburn and Mida Colburn (Collinsworth); her husband Pyburn Brown; her daughter Marlene Gardner; her brother Billy Joe Colburn; and her sister-in-law Kay Colburn.
She is survived by: her daughter Rae Beck (Paul) of Abilene; her siblings, Janice Craig (John) of McKinney and Ben Colburn (Juana) of Levelland; her grandchildren, Chris Beck (Sandy) of Tomball, Sean Gardner of Abilene and Scotty Gardner of Abilene; her great grandchildren, Belle Gardner, Gia Gardner, Ruby Gardner, Levi Gardner and Teagan Hines; and her great great grandchild Ella Saap. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Winters or the Rock Hotel Museum in Winters.
