He is survived by: his daughters, Kayla Haggerty and Laura Richard; and his grandchildren, Zoe, Dorian, Aiden, Amelia, Charlotte and Nolan.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to a local Veterans Post or honoring Dave's memory by seeking out new travel opportunities and embracing the adventure of seeing the world.
