He was predeceased by: his parents, Vesta Stephens and Edward Lewis; and his brother Edward Lewis, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lewis; his daughters, Patti Stacey, Susan Curry, Tammy Boyd, Lori Munoz and Amie Salaz; his stepchildren, Jim Barben, Brenda Elysavich and Robert Barben; and his siblings, Steven Lewis, Larry Lewis, David Lewis and Cindi Lewis. He is also survived by his daughters, stepdaughter, and stepsons.
