Though Julie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her mother Patsy Scott; and her husband David Gregory. She is survived by: her father Carl Scott; her children, Trey, Carlie and Bryce Buchmeyer; her sister Mandy; her brother-in-law Jimmy Allen; her brother Danny; and her sister-in-law Loretta Scott. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Corley Porter Funeral Home (208 N Canton St, Mexia, TX 76667). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wortham Methodist Church (301 W Main Ave, Wortham, TX 76693).
