He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Turner Hext and Norma Guy Hext. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hext; his sons, Ben Hext (Dana Hext) and Jeff Hext (Amanda Hext); his brother Bryan Hext (Dana Hext); and his grandchildren, Neal Hext, Ella Hext, William Hext, Faith Hext and Anna Hext.
