She was predeceased by : her parents, George Matney and Olive Matney of Wichita, Kansas; and her siblings, Robert Matney of Derby, Ronald Matney of Wichita, Kansas, Wanda Williams of Derby and Doris Rogers of Mulvane, Kansas..

She is survived by : her husband Mac Mathis; her children, Tammie Hogue (Eric) of Wylie, Texas, Kim Cathey of Carrollton, Texas and Stephen Mathis (Gricelda) of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; her great grandchildren, Asher Hogue and Willow Hogue of Iving, Texas.; and her sister Linda Avery (Harold) of Andover, Kansas. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
