He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gholson and Ruby Gholson (Starks); and his son Michael Gholson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Leonard Gholson (Stephens) of Yantis, Texas; and his children, Mack Gholson and Rene Gholson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
