He is survived by: his parents, James Richard and Wanda Nix (Herron) of Yantis, Texas; the mother of his children Kim Baugh Nix of Sulphur Springs, Texas; his children, Cody Nix (Stephanie) of Mount Vernon, Texas and Savannah Lindsay (Austin) of Corpus Christi, Texas; his granddaughter Lainey Nix; and his brother James Nix (Beverly) of Yantis, Texas. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
