She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Traughber and Lila Sue Traughber (Bird); her husband Jerry Hooker; and her siblings, Gayle Bus and Johnnie Traughber, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Jesse Hooker (Amber) of Yantis and Rita Bevill (Kemmy) of Yantis; her siblings, Alice Row (George) of Kaufman and Robert Traughber (Rita) of Dawson; her grandchildren, Maggie Janssen (Austin) of Amarillo, Maddie Gibson (Ricky) of Amarillo and Marshall Hooker of Yantis; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
