Linda Anette Current Obituary

Linda Current of Yantis, Texas, passed away peacefully with family at her side at the age of 82 on May 3, 2025.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Cliff Current, and her sons, Chris Sturm and his wife Melissa of Cashion, Oklahoma, and Ron Sturm and his wife Barbara of Midlothian, Texas.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Johnson and her husband Cody, Courtney Miles and her husband Dustin, and Kyle Sturm and his wife Elizabeth, as well as two great-grandchildren.

Linda graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Education. She began her career as an early childhood educator and later worked as a master scheduler for 3M, where her organizational skills and attention to detail shone. After retiring from the corporate world, she and Cliff became entrepreneurs, owning and operating several small businesses together over the years.

In retirement, Linda found joy in the peaceful beauty of life on Lake Fork. She especially loved hosting family gatherings at their lake home, where laughter, good food, and sunset views were always on the agenda. Time with family was her greatest happiness.

Linda was known for her strong work ethic, generous heart, and spirited sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and remembered always for her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love of family.
