It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Card (Yoakum, Texas), who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bruce Card to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce S. Card Sr. and Gladys Frisbie Card (Frisbie); and his brother-in-law Ralph Garrett. He is survived by: his close friend Johnnie Valis; his friends, George Bucek, Gilbert Adamek, Carlos Steinmann, George Boeker and Johnny Leopold; his caregivers, Jeane Jimenez, Jeanine Trevino and Dobie Johnson; his wife Dorothy Card; his children, Pamela Sanfilippo (Michael), Stacy Kvinta (Ken) and Jeffrey Card; his stepson Brian K. Kurtz; his sister Mary Garrett; his grandchildren, Gina Sanfilippo Lloyd (Grant), Alyssa Sanfilippo, Adam Kvinta (Catalina), Ryan Kvinta (Kailey) and Kaitlyn Kvinta; his great grandchildren, Zeke, Zoey Lloyd and Manuel Kvinta; his sister-in-law Betty Wesselsky Barbera; his nephews, Scott (Jennifer) and Steve Garrett (Olivia); his great-niece Natalie Garrett; and his nephew Ralph Garrett.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Yoakum (1026 E Gonzales St, Yoakum, TX 77995).
