He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Harper and Vera Harper (Clark); his wife Mary Ann Dilworth Taylor; his son Russell Lynn Dilworth; his grandsons, Traven Taylor and Julian Stovall; his siblings, Earl Anderson, Ray Harper, Depthome Taylor and Josie Mae Anderson; and his close friends, Verna Curtis and Lenora Gibbons.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Finch (Susan), Lonnie B. Taylor Jr. (Michelle), Ynita Shantaye Taylor (Charles), Dominque D. Taylor (Daryl), Virgil Dilworth (Lisa) and Patricia Ann Dilworth (Domingo); his stepchildren, Barbara "Hen" Curtis, Clinton R. Curtis (Tracy), Lisa Curtis, Rodney Curtis, Lawanda Wright and Kenzley Wright Sr.; his siblings, Lillie Price and Haywood Harper; and his close friend Laura Evans. He is also survived by 58 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home (1477 Carl Ramert Dr, Yoakum, TX 77995). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at the Bluebonnet Cemetery.
