It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric O Eckhardt of Yoakum, Texas, born in Fredericksburg, Texas, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Adolf Eckhardt and Antonie Braeutigam Eckhardt; his former wife Jo Ann; his caregivers, Brigid, Constance and Tyisha; his wife Gladys; and his siblings, Gilbert, Alvin, Victor, Clemens, Esther, Adeline and Norma.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Garner (Jimmy), Byron Eckhardt (Theresa) and Russell Eckhardt.
