He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Barta and Sophie Barta (Berckenhoff). He is survived by: his wife Linda Barta (Davis) of Moulton; his daughters, Mandy Ramirez (Val) of Moulton and Ashley Vernon (Bubba) of Moulton; his grandchildren, Keith Vernon (Caitlyn), Orion Ramirez (Hannah), Brandon Ramirez, Gavin Ramirez and McKenzie Renden (Sabastian); and his brother Allen Barta (Doris) of Moulton.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Texas , Dornburg Center in appreciation for their wonderful care and support.
