He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lekander and Clara Lekander (Hanson); and his brother Howard Lekander. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lekander; his sons, Craig Lekander (Joy), James Lekander (Stacy) and Michael Lekander (John); and his brother John Lekander. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shiner Cemetery.
