He was predeceased by: his parents, Macedonio Maciel and Maria Maciel; his siblings, Maurice Andrew Maciel Sr. (Bubba), Macedonio Maciel Jr. (Junior), Thomas R. Maciel, Manuela Sanchez (Dorothy) and Alice Nunez (Honda); and his cousin Fernando Mata.
He is survived by: his son Robert Maciel Jr.; his granddaughter Halen; and his siblings, Frank Maciel (Jill), David Maciel (Rebecca), Alex Maciel, Paula Ramirez, Rose Mata (David), Josie Garcia, Mila Nolte (James), Mary Loa (Daniel), Celia Mauric, Helen Soto and Dobie Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home (1477 Carl Ramert Dr, Yoakum, TX 77995). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
