He is survived by: his wife Deborah Stern; his daughter Michelle Stern; his daughter-in-law SueAnn Stern; his grandchildren, Alana Weisgerber (Jack), Rebeccah Lynn Johnson (Shane), Caitlyn Le Pori (Tyler), Elijah William Stern, Michael Aaron Stern and Samuel Felipe Cruz; his great grandchildren, LeahAnn, Clark David and Waylon David Le Pori; and his brother Ed Schmersal. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Memorials can be given to a Parkinson's Foundation or Harbor Hospice.
