It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alonzo Juarez of Zapata, Texas, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Claudia Teresa Juarez; his parents, Alfonso Juarez and Maria Celia Longoria; and his siblings, Beto Juarez, Ignacio Juarez, Jose Maria Juarez, Anita Juarez and Consuelo Juarez Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his wife Beatriz B. Juarez; his sons, Jose Alonzo Juarez (Anna M.), Martin Juarez (Raquel V.) and Ricardo M. Juarez (Mayra); and his grandchildren, Victor Juarez (Nancy), Jose Eduardo Juarez (Maribel), Hector Juarez (Sandy), Brianna Juarez, Martin Jr. Juarez (Zenaida), Marco Alonzo Juarez (Kassandra), Raquel Adriana Salas (David), Melanie Juarez Ricardo M. (Jose D.), Juarez Jr., Ruben Alonzo Juarez and Rufino E. Juarez. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Rose Garden Funeral Home (2102 US-83, Zapata, TX 78076). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1610 Hidalgo Blvd, Zapata, TX 78076).
