She was predeceased by: her husband Anselmo Laurel; and her parents, Asuncion Garza and Amelia Garza. She is survived by: her children, Maria Guadalupe Garza, Bernardo Sanchez, Victor Hugo Sanchez (Maria Dahlia), Baldemar Sanchez (Ana Laura), Maribel Chapa (Omar) and Jorge Sanchez (Josie); her grandchildren, Karina Alvarado, Alex Alvarado, Kiara Alvarado, Kayla Alvarado, Joshua Bernardo Sanchez, Victoria A. Sanchez, Samantha A. Sanchez, Baldemar Sanchez Jr., Kassandra Sanchez, Katelyn Issabella Sanchez, Juan Omar Chapa, Orlando Chapa and Briana Chapa; and her great grandchildren, Kima A. Niño and Kaeli Niño.
