We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2025, at the age of 60, Ernest Collins of Zavalla, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ernest departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ernest. Though Ernest may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Collins; Myrtis Arceneaux Collins. He is survived by: his siblings, Ricky Collins (Diane) of Silsbee and Susan Townsend (Ira) of Buna; his cousin Rodney Devers (Marilyn) of Nederland; and his siblings' children, Brian, Jennifer, Heather, Brooke, Brittany, Dylan and Dustin. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Riley Funeral Home (913 U. S. Hwy 190, Woodville, TX 75979). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
