He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sidney Petty Jr. and Edna Luene Petty (Stebbins) of Zephyr; and his brother Hollis Petty. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Henderson of Gatesville, Peggy Petty of Zephyr, Jennifer and Timothy Ryan of Brownwood; his grandchildren, Gary, Mary Henderson, Leslie Henderson, Danielle, Kutter Cross, Ashley Ryan, Katie Reagan, Michael Marrow and Craig Ryan; his great grandchildren, Kadence, Rylane, Sarah and Connor; and his sister Susan (Darrell Bills).
