He is survived by: his children, Christy Whiting (Todd), Marci Whitworth (Dave), Kim Helgesen (Craig) and Nic Evenson (Whitney); his siblings, Merrilyn Smith, Bill Evenson (Nancy), Ray Evenson (Louise), Karen Hopkins, Mark Evenson (Susan) and Janelle Thomas (Marc); and his sister-in-law Phyllis Johnson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
