He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Henry Thompson and Louise Margaret Taylor; his wife Donna; his siblings, Doris Roundsville and William Thompson; and his grandson Oscar Thompson.
He is survived by: his sons, David Stephen Thompson (Kip), John Edward Thompson (Ruth), Blaine Leon Thompson (Karen), Kenneth R Thompson and Benjamin Henry Thompson (Crystal); and his siblings, Philip Thompson and Mary Hanberg. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
