She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervie Lee Mathes and Fern Lucille Dehut Mathes; her stepfather Dudley Rhodes McFarland; her sister Karen Ross; her half-sister Norma Lee Redwine; and her grandchildren, Kaleb Lowder and Kenzie Sherwood.
She is survived by: her husband Val Ryse Lowder. She is also survived by 7 children and spouses, 46 grandchildren (including spouses), and 35 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (6521 N 2400 W, Amalga, UT 84335).
