He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduardo Gómez Herrera and Rosario Baltazar Romero. He is survived by: his siblings, Manuel, Homero, Arcenio, Oralia and Beatriz; his wife Zeni; and his children, Arcenio, Antonio, Alfredo, Eduardo, Silvia and Hugo. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, a newborn great-granddaughter, and a great-grandson.
