He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Piper and Mary Ella Stotts; his wife Karen Finlayson Burningham; and his children, Amy Hansen (Travis), Becky Gamber (Rick), Kim Durrant (Buzz), Mathew Piper (Lisa), Branden Piper (Milena), Nori Piper, Kerilyn Taylor (Kent), Jason Burningham (Makayla), Taylor Burningham and Jennilyn Nunley (Brendan). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, as well as countless friends and family.
