She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank William Brown and Edith Jones Brown; her brother Frank Robert Brown; and her husband Morris James Smith. She is survived by: her sister JaNae Brown Mattingly; and her children, Scott (Karen), Stephanie (Paul) and Sharmon (Susan).
