He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Reed Parrish and Bernice Ruth Bergeman Parrish; his brother John Parrish; and his daughter-in-law Skeeter. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Robert Reed Parrish and Jennifer Elizabeth Parrish Smith (Philip); his grandchildren, Christopher Reed Parrish, LeRoy Robert Smith, Tyler Joseph Smith, Lauren Smith Sandhu (Nanu), Lonnie Smith, Allison Parrish and Brodey Parrish; and his sisters, Joan Combe and Dianne Cashman.
Throughout his life, Robert embraced numerous callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he made significant contributions to missionary work as a Ward Missionary Leader, Stake Missionary, and Gospel Doctrine Teacher.
