He was predeceased by : his parents, John Tyler and Helen Bench Purdy. He is survived by : his wife Edris; his children, Tyler (Phylicia), Meghan (Christopher) and Susan; and his siblings, Richard (Lou), Michael (Jennifer), Roger and Donna (Michael). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
