She was predeceased by: her parents, Mother Rose Hinnenkamp (Weller) and Frank Hinnenkamp; her significant other Donald Howard; and her son Jimmy Howard. She is survived by: her children, Joel Howard (Linda), Julie Johnson (Eric), Jerilyn Midthun (John), Jeff Howard (Kathleen) and Jean Jacobson (Quinn). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
