He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hallsey and Leda Hallsey; his wife Joyce Whitehead; and his siblings, Etha, Pauline, Shirley and Jim.
He is survived by: his daughters, Alira Fay (Scott Orwin), Donna Celeste (Dale Robinson) and Tina Jo (Todd Rucker). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1866 W 5000 S, Spanish Fork, UT 84660). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel (505 E 900 N, Spanish Fork, UT 84660). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Utah Veteran's Cemetery and Memorial Park (17111 1700 W, Bluffdale, UT 84065).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those wishing to honor Dick's memory to plant a tree through the National Arbor Day Foundation.
