He is survived by: his wife Jill Bateman Danley; his children, David Chaffin (Erika), Eric (Melissa), Carina Hasselfeld (John) and Adrian of Top's Bad; and his stepchildren, Jayson Smith (Carin), Jinjer Donaldson (Peter) and John Smith (Shannon). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
