He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Gillen (Glen), Kelly Burke (Matt), Jay IV Best (Anna Lee), Erika Taulafoga (Junior), Brock Best (Annie), Brittney Gunther (John) and Cody Best (Bre); his wife Gina; and his caregivers, Molly, Holly Fox, Robyn, Dean and Laura. He is also survived by seven children; four siblings; nieces; nephews; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park (17111 S Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065).
