He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine P. Fessler (Anderson) and Elmer O. Fessler; and his siblings, Jim Anderson, Wes Fessler (Marilyn), Barbara Stephens and Jolene Clover.
He is survived by: his sons, Matt Brynie (Tonya) and Chance Fessler (KyLee); and his brothers, Brad of Des Moines, Wade (Pat) of Des Moines and Skip. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
