He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Olsen, Jean Rees, Cindy Edelman, Reed Parkin (Tina), Mary Johnson (John) and Ted Parkin; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Parkin. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
